The role:

Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist (Digital) is responsible for social media planning & execution, social media channel optimization, SEM and promotional support, on national basis, to drive the T&T website traffic. Good commend in Chinese and English copywriting.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring daily routines that drive the website traffic
  • Commence marketing and media (both online and offline) planning & day-to-day execution
  • Plan and execute the approved major marketing events and campaigns, and support in website promo programs
  • Optimize the use of various social media channels
  • Develop promotional opportunities and ideas from conception through to delivery
  • Monitor the website traffic, performance and provide analytical reports
  • Co-ordinate with various social media and promotional channels, partner closely with them in formalizing promotional strategies and campaigns
  • Provide accurate and creative copywriting and proof reading skills in both English and Chinese or promotional campaigns, web articles, and in-store displays
  • Meet all required deadlines on assignments
  • Support the overall marketing objectives of company both externally and internally
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior(s)

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years’ marketing experience, digital or e-Commerce background is an asset
  • Knowledge in online customer insight
  • Possess good experience in writing for a variety of media, including online and video, advertising, email, print and social
  • Possess creative and copywriting skills in both English and Chinese
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills; creative and innovative with good attention to detail
  • Experience in working within a demanding fast-paced or retail environment will be an asset
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Completion of bachelor degree in business administration, with focus on marketing or communications preferred
  • Knowledge in SEO / SEM
  • Experience in data analytics is an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of the Windows software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Some travelling to various locations may be required from time to time
