Business Development Representatives at Firmex aren't like other BDR's! This role has continually been the stepping stone to building your career as a Sales Executive. This role collaborates with our marketing team to build out a great set of leads and then working closely with clients taking them from prospect to engaged client. You will get to work closely with the Director of Sales, and support your Sales Executive and clients with product demos.

To be successful in this role you should be motivated by doing great things for your clients and the business. You are detailed, organized and solutions driven. You are always bringing ideas to the table to help make the entire team better. You are passionate about client service, comfortable speaking in front of clients and finish everything you start.

You aren't satisfied with the status quo.

As our Business Development Representative, you will:
Prospect for new Named accounts, new referral sources, and transactions

Grow your portfolio of Named accounts and assist the Senior Sales Executive team in hitting their booking targets

Develop original ideas and collaborate with marketing to execute campaigns focused on driving demand

Respond in a timely and efficient manner to all inbound leads assigned to you

Maintain a pristine lead and opportunity pipeline with a focus on identifying BANT criteria and forecasting Close Dates

Support the Sales Exec when they demo the product with a focus on solutions that relieve pains and provide gains

Create and deliver quotations and presentations to prospects

Record all sales activity and intelligence in Salesforce.com and report on success metrics

What you'll need to be successful here:
6 – 12 months of B2B sales experience in an individual contributor or interesting co-op experiences

Proven ability to generate demand and build a sales pipeline

Proven ability to communicate with VP and C-Level prospects

Ability to contribute individually and work within a strong team culture

Experience with CRM solutions, GoToMeeting and other relevant sales technology

Excellent writing, presentation, and demonstration skills
