We are Bell Corporate Stores, a high performance telecommunications sales channel driven by a culture of pride. We are the Bell Stores Support Team dedicated to providing programs and initiatives to assist our Bell Stores Team in the field. We are focussed on creating project initiatives that make the experience at a Bell Store:

Easy for our people to sell
Easy for our managers to lead

The Manager, Planning and Reporting is a key member of the corporate stores operations support team. The candidate will work closely with all levels of sales management and will interact with other groups within mobility, other business units within Bell as well as Bell Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Leading wireless, TV and Internet volume forecasting and target setting within the channel down to the store level.
Supporting regular daily, weekly and monthly volume and KPI reporting across the channel
Compensation design support and analysis
Labour management planning and scheduled hours allocation down to the store level.
Capital planning support including business case development

The successful candidate will need to possess strong technical and analytical skills. The candidate will also have strong communication skills to build relationships at various levels of the organization and the confidence to participate in discussions with business partners. In addition, the candidate will be a self-starter that is able to work independently to complete specified tasks under tight deadlines within a fast-paced working environment.

Critical Competencies

Demonstrated analytical ability with a focus on detail, accuracy, complex problem solving and logic capabilities.
Successful track record working in team environments with proven ability to influence others without direct responsibility.
Experience leading and supporting a team of direct reports
An understanding of the telecommunications industry, working knowledge of BDI internal systems (SAP, FUSION) is an asset.
Proficient in advanced MS Excel functions such as pivot tables, v-lookup functions, MS Access and general data manipulation.
Ability to multi-task and understand competing priorities following through to the completion of assigned projects
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly and convincingly communicate, both written and oral, with both technical and non-technical internal customers.
Knowledge of Business Intelligence methodologies, architecture and design.
A minimum of an undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field

Preferred Competencies

Completed or currently pursuing a CGA, CA, CMA or other financial designation
Preferred to have wireless industry experience
Experience with Pillar, SAP & Essbase
Ability to speak French is an asset

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
