The temporary full-time Customer Service Rep (CSR) will be responsible for providing consistently high-levels of customer service to all patrons by providing prompt service, taking accurate orders, and maintaining a strong working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials. The CSR carries out duties in a friendly and professional manner at all times, and ensuring quality customer service. Other responsibilities include the proper setting and clearing of tables, assisting with cleaning duties, and complying with all restaurant policies and procedures.

In addition, this position may also float to various areas of the Hospitality department to assist with any staffing needs as necessary, including Kitchen Prep, Cook, Cashier, Customer Service Rep, etc.

This is a 6 month contract.

Job Duties:
Take orders from customers and effectively communicate order to team to execute
Maintain familiarity with the composition of all menu items
Serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards, maintaining a professional and courteous manner
Clean assigned areas, in accordance with standard procedures, following morning/evening routines and hygiene requirements
Change table linen as required and ensure dirty or damaged linen is counted and exchanged for clean, usable linen
Clean and refill cruet and condiment sets
Ensure that any table decorations comply with agreed standards
Ensure that all restaurant items and equipment used are clean, undamaged and in a good state of repair
Ensure sideboards on stations are adequately stocked with replacement cutlery, linen or other established needs (be it food or equipment)
Clean tables in a timely manner
Ensure that customers are correctly charged, present the bill and take payment from the customer, in accordance with the procedures of the establishment
At all times practice and maintain good customer relations, assisting the guest in any way which does not adversely affect other customers
Address customer complaints satisfactorily
Report any suspicious packages or parcels to management without delay
Participate in any fire or evacuation drills and ensure complete familiarization with all exits, including those normally used by customers, as well as fire escapes
Carry out on-the-job training to ensure subordinate staff can carry out their duties effectively
Be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of personal hygiene and follow company dress code
Ensure that any subordinate staff adhere to, and maintain, the highest possible standards of personal hygiene and follow dress code
Attend meetings and training courses as required
May float to various areas throughout the Hospitality department to meet staffing needs
Other duties as required
Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
A certificate or diploma in a related field preferred
1 year of restaurant service experience
Ability to follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
Friendly disposition and willingness to learn new skills
Ability to educate customer on products and meet customer expectations
Greet and communicate with each customer in a polite manner
Demonstrate “Outstanding Customer Service” regularly
Prepares Smoothies, food and other beverages to Booster Juice standards
Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to work well under pressure
Strong attention to detail
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and e-mail
Professional appearance and manner
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
