Job Summary

Zenabis is seeking an experienced Front End Developer. The focus is to create clean, simple, beautiful websites and banners that convert at a higher than normal rate. This person will design banner ads and websites that strongly represent the company's brand, and then convert those designs into a website that loads quickly and looks consistent across all modern browsers. The ideal candidate has strong multitasking skills and is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, produce high quality, well-tested deliverables, and an understanding of what makes a design attractive from a customer's perspective.

Responsibilities:
Produce web page layouts and responsive web designs that support our brand
Think creatively to produce new ideas
Develop and design new layouts to improve the product browsing experience for customers
Strong ability to execute original ideas from concept to completion
Work with vendors within branding guidelines to achieve consistency throughout projects
Manage front-end web development of all web assets, microsites and social platforms
Update the look and feel on all websites pages
Maintain an organized archive system for all completed work
Organize and optimize projects for scalability
Implement the latest web standards to existing and future projects to maintain & improve speed and security
Basic SEO knowledge to help with overall website decisions
Have a clear vision of projects & a vision of what the end result will be

Requirements:
Proficient with HTML5, JS (Jquery), CSS (preprocessors such as SCSS)
Experience with WordPressStrong and working knowledge of Web Design/Development software
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign; other Adobe software
Proficient with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook
Understanding database MySQL and PHP is an asset
Understanding of social networks, digital media, and online trends
Previous experience building e-commerce websites
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when needed to meet deadlines
Demonstrated problem solving, organization skills and the ability to multi-task
Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

Security Clearance: Security Clearance is required for this position.

Working Hours: Full-Time, Monday through Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm.
