D-Wave is seeking a co-op student to join our Finance and Accounting team. Reporting to the General Accountant, you will be responsible for posting manual journal entries into the accounting system, assist in the reconciliation of detailed financial reports, and other administrative duties as required. You will be responsible for providing accurate financial reports under the supervision of the General Accountant and Assistant Controller. Responsibilities
Support the accounts payable function
Credit card reconciliations
Maintenance of the inventory sign out sheet
Work with the finance team to develop financial and business forecasts
Financial statement notes and tie outs, including internal consistency checks within both documents and support
Assist in the preparation of routine periodic and non-routine journal entries
On and ongoing basis, participate in the improvement of business processes and automation of key reports
Qualifications
Heading into final year of a related formal academic degree or certificate.
Excellent written and spoken English skills
Experience working with GL codes
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
