The successful candidate will be welcomed into an exceptional team of professionals dedicated to science-based, ethical environmental consulting, collaborating on fascinating and challenging assignments. This role will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing environmental projects including environmental assessments and environmental compliance monitoring
  • Managing multiple time sensitive projects from scope to implementation and staying on schedule and within budget while following company policies to achieve project objectives
  • Scheduling employee work and selecting company resources to achieve project objectives
  • Ensuring tasks are completed, alter work processes as required to achieve project objectives
  • Communicating with clients, stakeholders, Indigenous groups and regulators
  • Participating in business development and leading proposal preparation
  • Providing technical leadership and support for other projects as required
  • Hiring, managing and training project and task managers

  • 5+ years of work experience in a consulting environment and 5+ years project management experience
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, critical thinking, ability to make sound decisions, good negotiation skills, problem solver
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, excellence, and ethics
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic business with strict deadlines, budgets and quality standards
