Reporting directly to the Office Manager, the Reception/Administrative Assistant’s responsibilities include front end reception, sales team support, quote and invoice development and financial transaction management. The successful candidate must have a passion for people and an interest in learning a new industry.
Skills & Abilities:
: Ability to accurately type at min. 40 wpm
: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally (friendly and courteous) and in writing
: Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
: Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
: Ability to organize and prioritize.
: Knowledge of general office procedures.
: Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients.
: An ability to keep up with a sometimes-high paced environment with both residential and commercial clients.
: A willingness to learn, and remember, a unique integrated flooring program.
: Attention to details are highly important and emphasized.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
: Greet customers in store and on the phone in a friendly courteous manner.
: Ensure all clientele are matched with a sales team member within store standard times.
: Ensuite clientele satisfaction before leaving the store, in a friendly courteous manner.
: Manage financial transactions with the clientele.
: Type and email routine quotations and process customer invoices/orders.
: Perform general office duties as required.
: Perform other duties as necessary, cleaning, putting samples away, to keep busy.
