About the Opportunity

The Account Representative acts as the central point for all business transactions within Armadillo Building Products. They contribute to the success of the company by fulfilling B2B sales orders, qualifying new client leads or opportunities and consistently maintaining and enhancing business relationships through exceptional account management. Armadillo Building Products expects its representatives to be innovative, driven, and have a strong value for customers, continuously driving success for both themselves as well as the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Armadillo Building Products to new and existing clients via product and service knowledge.
  • Act as a client liaison by providing technical assistance to customers, involving basic application engineering when necessary or calling on other functions as needed to support effective execution.
  • Take ownership of and work collaboratively with internal team members to ensure client expectations are being met.
  • Responsible for initiating and participating in team problem resolution to address part issues and workflow issues, driving these to improvement and implementation.
  • Utilize the CRM and internal processes to adhere to business policies and facilitate the growth and success of the department.
  • Create and manage the business relationship between the company and the dealer
  • Be able to present and educate the product to dealers

· Pursue new leads and referrals

  • Increasing client acquisition
  • Meeting and exceeding established sales objectives

· You don’t believe in settling, you find ways to overachieve and keep improving

· Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products

  • Provide territorial sales forecasts and update the Armadillo CRM
  • Technically proficient on all company products and systems
  • Weekly reporting

Requirements

  • 5+ years of outside B2B dealer sales, including new business development
  • Knowledge of roofing products, construction industry experience preferred
  • Valid Driver’s Licence is a must
  • Be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency on MS Office and CRM systems
  • Solid “deal-closing” skills
  • A proven track record of success, aggressive business growth, and exceeding quotas
  • You must have a professional appearance and attitude
  • An outstanding work ethic
  • Coachable and willing to learn
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills; Detail-oriented
