We are looking for a technical expert to support the design, development, implementation, sustainment and continuous improvement of Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) standards, processes, procedures and tools. You will be a direct player in supporting Suncor’s organizational transformation initiative in leveraging state-of-the-art technology.

You will use your expertise to:
Act as an expert for EH&S system and data governance
Facilitate improvements and defect resolution of EH&S technology
Ensure EH&S applications and systems meet business requirements
Lead governance networks with cross-functional teams
Facilitate the translation of business requirements into technological solutions

Must-haves (minimum requirements):
Six years of EH&S experience, preferably in a technological capacity, or six years of experience in either a technology governance or sustainment role that is related to EH&S systems
A post-secondary diploma, preferably in EH&S or technology-related field
Strong SAP skills and knowledge
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including experience working with pivot tables, v-lookups, and reporting
Strong collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
The ability to anticipate potential problems and check for out-of-the-ordinary conditions, and you have a strong sense of accountability
A continuous improvement mindset and are able to seek greater knowledge and understanding of the systems, process and hazards in the workplace
Alignment with our values of: safety above all else, respect, raise the bar, commitments matter and do the right thing

Preference for:
Enablon experience
Power BI experience
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software experience
Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other meaningful information:

You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
