Reporting to the Director, Recruitment and Admissions, the Assistant Director, Recruitment and Admissions is primarily responsible for taking an entrepreneurial approach to developing and exploring networks and opportunities to build the reputation and brand of the professional MBA programs at Rotman.
In this role you will implement and execute strategies to develop awareness of your program through short, medium, and long-term marketing initiatives, creating partnerships with associations, and business development within organizations. Through these initiatives, you will generate a pipeline of seasoned candidates interested in continuing their education with our program(s).
Additionally, you will nurture your candidate pipeline through effective CRM management, information events, business meetings, and virtual and in-person chats and interviews. You will be accountable for the recruitment and admissions process to completion and to target.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conceptualizing, organizing, and executing online, on-campus, off-campus events and cultivating ongoing, high-profile prospective partnerships that advance strategic agendas
Establishing and maintaining solid relationships with a network of contacts in organizations and corporations, and with our alumni, to support recruitment and admission strategies
Researching and identifying new partnerships and markets that yield desirable outcomes for our programs
Effectively managing your time between business development, recruitment, events, and admissions priorities
Partnering with academic leaders, our marketing team, and admissions coordinators to propel the recruitment and admissions process forward
Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of your industry and acting as a subject matter expert for internal and external candidates
Effectively mining data insights to monitor success and course-correct if activities are not achieving the desired results
Reviewing and assessing admissions applications and recommending the best candidates for entrance awards
Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
Minimum five(5) years of recent and related experience in a service-centered, recruitment related environment
Experience in any or some of the following: marketing, business development, talent acquisition or career advising
Experience working with executive-level candidates interested in EMBA programs is desirable
Superior skills as a presenter, facilitator, and communicator with the ability to effectively promote Rotman and to facilitate discussions to achieve appropriate outcomes
Knowledge and experience with CRM systems, data analysis and report generation
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated relationship building and interpersonal skills are required
Exceptional customer service orientation
Knowledge of School of Graduate Studies' policies and procedures an asset
Understanding of international degree equivalencies and foreign accreditation also an asset

Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:
USW Pay Band 15 - $84,316 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $107,826. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
