As a Sales Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting sales training on products and systems for new sales representatives. You will also provide one-on-one coaching to the sales representatives in the field. You will use your training experience to develop and deliver sales training curricula that address both product skills and "Solution Selling" skills. Through training, coaching and shadowing you will ensure a consistent application of sales approach and methodologies across the Canon’s sales organization.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop and create training content
Deliver training content through the use of engaging materials and reading of
Conduct needs analyses with customers and sales representatives to develop new
Ensure that training room equipment, software, and middleware is operating
Collaborate with other Business Units (business planning, marketing, sales, service, solutions, etc.) to help deliver their training content
Lead field sales calls with newly hired sales reps in order to provide on-the-job sales
training and coaching
What We're Looking For:
3-5 years of business-to-business sales and cold calling experience is required
Strong analytical skills for reviewing trainees’ marks, comparing them to regional scores, and determining methods for improvement
Excellent project and process management skills to create training materials before they are launched
Coomputer and technical skills - working with databases, conversion software, and to discuss digital security
Ability to manage time and balance class interest with course materials
