The Operations Manager is responsible for customer retention and developing Franchise owners (within a designated territory) to deliver services in accordance with defined operational standards.
The position supports the franchisees on operational processes and tasks which are critical to the mission of long-term customer satisfaction and business growth.

Our cleaning teams are Owner/Operators (Franchisees) that have a vested interest in providing great service to their Customers – your role is to provide them coaching, feedback and support to ensure they become more successful business owners.
The success of this position will be achieved through your customer service focus, interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with others and ability to inspire others and to achieve industry leading customer satisfaction levels. Your ability to impart technical skills (current janitorial methods and practices) are another critical aspect of this role.
This road warrior will be spending most of their time meeting with customers and Franchisees in the designated territory ensuring the Jan-Pro services are driving growth and success.

Job Description

  • Oversee the quality of the Franchisees through on-site quality inspections
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients and franchisees
  • Resolve issues and coach on agreed service expectations
  • Train and develop commercial cleaning standards and procedures
  • Report thorough details of assessments and meeting summaries
  • Generate special service quotes and oversee start-up accounts
  • Support the Sales organization and sell direct as required

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s license and vehicle (you will be requested to provide a driver’s abstract)
  • Bondable (you will be required to provide a police background check)
  • Minimum of 2 years of management in customer service or operational role
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and train individuals where English is their second language
  • Working knowledge of current commercial cleaning methods and practices
  • Working knowledge of project work/special services such as : Carpet cleaning; stripping and waxing; buffing and burnishing; scrubbing and recoating; carpet spotting and window washing
  • Demonstrated proficiency with cleaning equipment
  • Willing to work flexible hours and days – evenings and weekend work is required
  • Experience and proficient with technology (computer, web-based, CRM and mobile functions)
  • Post-secondary education in business related field
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Valid passport

Compensation to commensurate with experience; range $40,000 - $50,000 per annum + account retention bonus and sales commissions. Vehicle expenses are covered up to $575.00 per month and a company cell phone is provided. Benefits provided.
