We are currently looking to grow our team at HMS MacLachlan Insurance Inc. in Parkhill, ON. We’re seeking a highly motivated and well-rounded individual for the position of Customer Service Representative/Insurance Broker.

About the Job:
As our new Customer Service Representative/Insurance Broker you’ll serve as your customers’ trusted advisor. We’ll make sure you are well-trained in all things insurance, so that you can provide them expert advice they can rely on.

Whether you’re responding to customer questions, managing claim calls, or handling client coverage renewals, your interactions will be guided by understanding, care, and a positive attitude.

Maintaining client records will come naturally to you because you have a strong attention to detail. You thrive in fast-paced environments, and you’re motivated by results. Above all, you’re coachable: you have an open mind, and you’re always seeking to learn more, develop your skills.

The Details:

  • Full time, permanent position working Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm, and Fridays 8:30am – 4:00pm
  • Based out of our Grand Bend or Parkhill office
  • Competitive compensation package

Qualifications:
Here are our must haves:

  • Proven track record of success in a customer service role
  • Experience managing client accounts
  • Technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn how to use our insurance-based technology
  • Desire to obtain necessary insurance licenses, upon starting with us: RIBO (Registered Insurance Broker)

And if you have any of the following, it would be an asset:

  • Experience in the insurance industry & using insurance software such as Power Broker
  • RIBO license
  • Experience underwriting or loss adjusting
  • Qualification in a business-related discipline (CAIB, CIP)
