This is a Full-Time position with Medical Benefits and Retirement Savings Plan

As a FACILITIES COORDINATOR, your responsibilities are:
Perform routine maintenance within the laboratory (e.g. changing light bulbs, cleaning filters, replacing motors and belts).
Ensure any safety related maintenance items are addressed promptly.
Build and/or install special apparatus that may be required within the laboratory (e.g. shelving, eyewash stations, fire extinguishers).
Perform minor repairs and modifications (e.g. partitions, walls, flooring, bench tops, cabinets, ducting, fume hoods, refrigerators, freezers, chillers, plumbing and electrical systems).
Liaise with the Landlord and contractors who have responsibility for maintenance of laboratory and building equipment (e.g. HVAC, make-up air unit, plumbing, electrical).
Other duties as required

You are an ideal FACILITIES COORDINATOR if you have [Minimum Requirements]:

A Technical Diploma with 5 Years General Maintenance experience (preferred)
Basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical expertise/skills.
Eager to learn and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude and great multitasking skills.
Excellent computer skills.
