This position will report directly into the VP Operations - Direct Lending and will play a critical role guiding the Direct Lending teams through the multitude of changes and implementation requirements that we will experience as we continue to grow our Fairstone business. This individual will collaborate with senior leaders from all Centralized departments to provide direction/guidance on all items that will impact the Direct Lending teams, or any of their customers. Additionally, this role will be responsible for working with the Branch Network Field Management (Area Directors/District Managers) and Centralized Sales/Collections Management to coordinate the implementation of these changes, including the communication, roll out, validation and follow up required post implementation.
In this role you will need you use your extensive business knowledge and experience to be able to educate and influence effectively, as well as utilize your ability to implement and managed a multitude of projects through their various stages. Understanding of the capacity restraints within the Branch Network and ability to leverage relationships built over time as a respected field leader will be critical in the role for effective change management. Coordination and implementation of change with neutral or positive business/customer impact is the primary expectation.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
Coordination and implementation of any business change that impacts Direct Lending teams performance, product, process or impacts our customer
Oversight, approval and distribution coordination of any communication intended for the Direct Lending teams
Work collaboratively with various intercompany departments to gain understanding of operational impact to changes and provide feedback/direction as required on any in scope projects
Coordination of all system/technology/modernization changes that impact the Direct Lending teams/Customer
Minimize any negative impact to production and/or customer experience while maximizing positive messaging.
Ensure direct lending teams/Customer needs are always considered as the top priority in any initiative.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience (5+ years in a leadership role)
Extensive understanding of the consumer finance business (5+ years)
Must have high level communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be able to make logic based decisions and evaluate/adjust for audience
Project management experience an asset
Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
Able to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management
Must possess strong upward communication skills
Demonstrated history of high level personal accountability for results
Expert implementation and execution skills
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bilingual (English/French) preferred but not required
Authorized to work in Canada
