Everyday Banking is the cornerstone of a customer's relationship with their bank. The Everyday Banking team focuses on the following broad areas:
Maximizing the profit / P&L of our products and ancillary services
Developing new products for future growth
Acquiring new-to-bank customers, franchising TDBG customers and enhancing sales processes
On-boarding and retaining customers
Driving operational excellence across our business

Reporting to the Group Product Manager, the Associate – Everyday Banking is responsible for the following:
Continually review the product portfolio to manage current performance, and identify issues, trends, and opportunities to maximize key financial and business measures (price, risk, NIAT, market share, revenue growth, expense management)
Support end-to-end plan pricing, re-structuring, and new product development, including concept development, socialization, business casing and execution
Lead initiatives that drive incremental revenue, streamline processes, resolve employee irritants, and improve the customer experience
Support large, complex cross-functional projects that impact the chequing lineup (e.g. product development and pricing), leveraging key partners and resources from the PMO, Operations and Technology, Marketing, Retail Distribution, Digital Channels, Phone and ATM Channel, Marketing, Finance, and CAPA, among others
Support complete customer journey work, and resolve irritants through process improvement and enhancements to product policies and procedures
Address customer and employee complaints, and provide support in resolving operational incidents
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners
Complete ad hoc executive requests (e.g. portfolio analysis, outlooks, backpocket collation)
Monitor industry trends and competitive developments, and identify implications of these to the Everyday Banking business
Previous product management experience and people management are valued assets
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills with an ability to deliver actionable recommendations and resolve issues in a timely manner
High degree of comfort working with financial models
Strategic thinker with proven ability to understand and clearly articulate key issues
Working knowledge of product strategies and a demonstrated ability to apply them
Experience leading and managing projects
Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with partners
Demonstrated ability in impacting and influencing others
Strong communication and presentation skills
Solid understanding of various TDBG host systems
Flexibility to adapt and manage within a dynamic business environment
Enthusiastic self starter with ability to prioritize and multi-task, working both independently and within a team environment
