As an Analyst, Advanced Analytics reporting to the Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics, you will be responsible for building, deploying, and monitoring streamlined analytical tools & processes, leveraging statistical and machine learning models created by other members of the Advanced Analytics team.
Ability to create and validate reports required by Business, performing data mining and data cleansing prior to creation of reports.
Familiar with large dataset and database in PC and mainframe environment
Possesses strong analytical and organizational skills sets with attention to detail
Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a diverse audience in business terms.
Ability to perform deep dive into data to solve problems, to support team in development of credit risk solutions
Demonstrates aptitude to develop technical expertise in industry-specific Risk and Analytics tools required to support the business
Demonstrate analytical skills required for problem solving in MIS environment, with capability to provide solutions for business
Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data to create and produce reports/analysis for tracking performance and trends used for setting business direction and for portfolio policy changes.
Ability to create reports and track performance based on observations of key business indicators and trends.
Develop and maintain documentation governing processes and procedures.
Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of Digital Analytics & Channel Optimizations
2+ years of Programming/MIS experience in Risk Management within a Financial Services Organization with focus on retail lending
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field such as Marketing, statistics, economics, engineering or mathematics.
Knowledge of very large databases, data mining and/or data warehousing
Advanced working knowledge of SAS or other computing languages (SQL) used for statistical and data analysis with documentation capability.
Advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, and Microsoft Access, B.I. Tools
Minimum 2 years of experience building reports using Google Analytics Data structure & BigQuery
Experienced in Growth analytics is an advantage
