Mobify is looking for a Technical Architect, Lead to join our Platform Success Team!
The Technical Architect, Lead is a technical expert and project lead with experience architecting, designing, developing and deploying web applications. As part of Mobify's Customer Success team, the Technical Architect, Lead works with Engineers, Project Managers, and Customer Success Managers to support our customers and their system integrators as they build, run and evolve apps on the Mobify platform.
As a Technical Architect, Lead will be the technical arm of the Success Manager, responsible for maintaining a pulse on the customer’s tech stack and how the Mobify platform plays a role in the overall architecture, providing best practice consultation on designing, deploying, and integrating elements of a web application within the Mobify platform and guidance in areas of application performance, reliability, security and compliance.

We enable retailers and brands with the agility to be customer-first and iterate on the experiences that directly impact their customer while having confidence in the structure of their backend architecture to best meet those needs. What You’ll Do
Provide technical leadership and consulting to our Partner’s and Customer’s teams remotely and in-person in the Customer-owned areas of performance, reliability, security and compliance in Mobify’s Shared Responsibility Model
Maintain relationships and act as an advocate through regular communication with partner development managers, Solution Architects (SAs) and/or development leads, understanding our client’s business, technical objectives, and product requirements
Consult on architecture for implementations of the Mobify platform
Lead a small team of software engineers and provide mentoring through technical and career development
Work with Mobify Customer Success and partner equivalents to proactively monitor, raise concerns and suggest project development or architecture best practices
Proactively spot rough edges across implementations and work with partner and customer teams to remove them
Contribute to the platform roadmap by presenting feedback from the developer community to Product, Product Management and the rest of the Mobify
Work with assigned customers/partners to bridge the pre/post sales technical knowledge gap
Support sales efforts by developing proof-of-concepts and ensuring proposals are technically sound
Assist with post-sales partner guidance including requirements gathering, scoping, and proof of concepts
Who You Are
You have managed direct reports
You have oversaw technical direction, development, and implementation of projects
You have worked with ecommerce platform like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, CommerceTools, SAP Hybris, Adobe Magento or similar
You can communicate technical concepts to audiences of all levels (from independent contributors to executives) and roles (both technical and nontechnical)
You have the tenacity to debug tricky problems that cross systems or vendors and understand when and how to escalate issues
You have worked on a team building and maintaining a web application
You are capable of efficient prioritization and ability to flex as needs change
You are passionate about building great experiences for users on the web
You have a growth mindset and are open and willing to both accept and give feedback
You can travel onsite for occasional visits to a customers or partners
