YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the preparation of design drawings, details and contract documents using AutoCAD.
Draft and design detailed packages related to renewal and new construction.
Conduct field reviews to identify and confirm as-built designs/projects.
Provide technical expertise in collaboration with engineering and construction projects.
Liaise with Engineers regarding structural requirements and meet with clients/project managers to discuss and confirm project design requirements.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years' experience in residential Auto CAD design
Post-secondary education in Architectural, Industrial Design, Structural Design, or related field
Experience using and proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Word)
Working knowledge of industry codes, specifications and standards
Excellent customer service skills & communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
High degree of mental focus and concentration
Reliable with strong work ethic
Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset
