The Guest Experience Leader position is a unique role that allows you to interact directly with all of the guests that enter our restaurant. Similar to a host/hostess position, the Guest Experience Leader is responsible for elevating the guest experience in our restaurant by attending to guest needs, assisting families, and providing service with a smile!
In this role, you will have the following job responsibilities:
Greet Guests in the lobby upon arrival and generating conversation
Help Guests to use the self-order kiosk to place their order
Converse with Guests once they are seated to find out about their experience
Assist Guests with understanding current promotions, special offers, new products; answering questions and accessing information such as nutritional information
Work with the Maintenance and Dining Room Crew to identify and to ensure that the restaurant remains clean, well-maintained and properly equipped to meet Guests needs
Communicate with the Shift Manager and dining room staff on all opportunities that impact the guest
Act as a McDonald’s brand ambassador by learning about our history, values, promotions, and community involvement

Must have the ability to strike up conversations and create connections with guests while anticipating their needs
Provide assistance to guest by opening doors, helping with trays, offering to get napkins/ straws/ condiments for guests that are already seated, setting up highchairs, helping guests find a table, etc.
Able to identify and resolve guests issues and escalates to the Shift Manager when needed
Previous restaurant experience as a host/hostess, or sales/customer service experience is an asset
Able to communicate well in written and verbal English
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Organized with a high level of attention to detail, able to maintain accuracy while handling multiple duties in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the restaurant, including days, and weekend shifts as required.
Reliable and consistent attendance record
Previous Host/Hostess experience is an asset
