Prepped, an RBC Venture, is changing the way jobseekers approach their career search. As a digital career coach, Prepped is improving accessibility for users to learn crucial skills like networking, interviewing and presenting their elevator pitch.

Prepped plans to become the top resource for job seekers in Canada and, as we grow, we are looking to hire a Growth Marketing Manager. Prepped is a lean startup located at our RBC Ventures office in downtown Toronto.

In this role, you will be a crucial member of the small and mighty Prepped team, and will play an important role driving growth and adoption of Prepped by Canadian jobseekers.

What will you do?

Ensure Prepped’s brand voice is consistent throughout all marketing channels
Act as the voice of the customer as well as mining customer insights in order to deliver effective creative briefs and marketing campaigns
Play an important role developing and managing performance marketing plans to meet Venture objectives
Own the content & social calendars and responsible for content strategy & execution which will include creation & publishing on appropriate platforms
Manage email marketing journeys from end to end
Work closely with the Product team to optimize the consumer funnel
Share information, insights and implications across RBC Marketing and Business partner teams to ensure timely discussion and resolution
Manage external agencies and partners as needed

What do you need to succeed?


3+ years of performance marketing experience as it relates to paid digital advertising (i.e. Facebook Ads, Paid Search, LinkedIn Ads), with the ability to strategize, test and execute to drive results in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience in content marketing and social media management with some knowledge of SEO
Demonstrated email marketing experience as it relates to designing user journeys, email templates, managing data and technology requirements, and CASL compliance
Strong ability to work in a collaborative, supportive way across the organization but also comfortable working independently to achieve results
Very good knowledge of Google Analytics, Landing Page software and Social Advertising Platforms


University degree in marketing or other related field
Experience and success in both a small startup environment and a large matrix organization
Experience working within a SaaS company
Must be an enthusiastic, well-organized self-starter who takes initiative and adapts to change
