Journeyperson and Apprentice Sheet Metal Workers
We are seeking 5 Sheet Metal Workers (Journeyperson, 4th Year and 3rd Year Apprentices) at the Brucejack Mine in Stewart, BC. The duration of this project is until Aug. 16, 2023. Rotation is 20 days on 7-8 days off, 8–12-hour days, day shift. Rates and terms and conditions will be as per the collective agreement. No agency referrals.
Qualified Candidates will have the following abilities:
- Works safely in a construction environment
- Ability to lift 20kg unassisted, and be fit to work
- Be able to load & unload materials
- Assist in preparing and maintaining a clean and safe work site to eliminate potential hazards
- Ability to communicate in English, oral and written
- Valid First Aid, Fall Protection and AWP required
- Must be able to provide proof of skill level
- A&D testing required
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month
Salary: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
