Commercient is a global software developer in the ERP and CRM Software integration space. We are seeking a highly seasoned and professional Sales Manager to build out a Global Sales Team. The right candidate will manage, develop and lead a team of Pre-Sales/ Sales Account Executives (AE’s) and Solution Engineers (SE’s) for the Global marketplace. The Manager, Global Sales will manage, develop, and lead a team of high performing Pre-Sales AE’s to ensure the sales and effective delivery of Commercient’s solutions and services. This individual will engage regularly with their immediate team, partners, and their local sales management counterparts. They will provide guidance and direction to their team and help them understand what our go-to-market strategy is and ensure that Sales team, as well as the local partners, know how we want to go to market with them.

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of managing high-performance teams and who has experience partnering with sales to grow product and services revenue. They will have been a leader of a technology organization whose members routinely exert significant influence on the solution development and sale of business-driven technology solutions to customers. The individual has demonstrated the ability to manage team execution during solution sales activities, and the ability to personally influence the sale of complex, large-scale business-driven technology solutions to senior client executives. In addition, this individual will have excellent strategic planning and strategy deployment skills and must possess a broad level of technical understanding.


  • Manage, lead and motivate a team of Sales AE’s who represent the company and provide all pre-sales account management for their prospects and Partners
  • Lead a team that contributes to the purchase of online apps and coaching services that integrate ERP and CRM
  • Train and conduct product demonstrations for our partners, customers, and your partnered pre-sales team; helping them understand how and why to deploy Commercient Apps and business solutions
  • Develop and help manage curriculum for the SE’s to grow and develop
  • Able to relay technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Communicate with other members of the pre-sales/sales and service organization to develop training initiatives that will enhance the effectiveness of the sale
  • Develop key relationships with enterprise customers and partners
  • Assure technical competency and skill sets of the AE’s and SE’s on a regular basis
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales, software engineering, project management, product development, and operational groups to ensure the development of customer solutions
  • Recruit, hire and retain the right people to form a high performing pre-sales system engineering team
  • Mentor, coach and develop the team; provide performance management, salary planning, and technical training
  • Keep detailed reports, dashboards, and meet and mentor regularly.
  • Provide technical resources to optimize sales volume and ensure customers have the maximum opportunity for successful application through systems/applications engineering services


  • 5 + year of managing Pre-Sales Account Executives and Systems Engineers working with SMB and Enterprise customers
  • 7 + years of Pre-Sales Systems Implementation experience working within the ERP accounting and CRM space
  • Understanding and experience with CRM, integration, ETL, software installation,
  • Experience working with Sales Automation, Sales Optimization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

The ideal candidate will possess…

  • 5 years of Sales Management experience with Management courses completed
  • CRM and ERP solutions selling and implementation experience
  • Experience in CRM and Sales Best Practices
  • Conscientious attitude and dependability, strengths in teamwork and communication


  • Typically requires BS/BA or 5-7 years equivalent hands-on experience
