This position will help innovate AHS IT in the areas of Analytics, Automation (Robotic Process Automation), and AI. You will have a strong development skillset and be able to develop in C# .net code leveraging MS SQL Server. You will interact with 100s of different enterprise systems including clinical information systems and technology systems, which run Canada’s 5th largest organization. You will be responsible for advanced software development, SQL queries, process modelling and support of IT Analytics systems. You will communicate at all levels of the organization, investigate, diagnose and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated before assignment to this position. You will translate business requirements into technical requirements and recommend an approach based on business needs. The IT Analytics team is very social, has a “LEAN Startup” culture and excels at quickly documenting business requirements and developing agile solutions.
As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery.
