We currently have an opening for an Intermediate Hydrologist in our Vernon (or Kamloops, Kelowna or Vancouver) office.
As an Intermediate Hydrologist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance for a variety of surface water projects, project management, strategic planning, and business development in a dynamic working environment. This role will include work across western and northern Canada.
Responsibilities include the following:
Carrying out hydrometric monitoring and stream channel surveys and assessments.
Performing a broad range of technical hydrologic, hydraulic and planning assessments.
Contributing to or leading the preparation of high quality scientific and technical reports.
Managing projects, including project scoping and budgeting, planning, client liaison, quality assurance and quality control, managing inter-disciplinary project teams, and project administration.

What you will bring to the table:
Undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in hydrology, physical geography, earth science, or water resources engineering; graduate (M.Sc.) degree preferred.
Minimum of 4 years' post-graduation experience in environmental consulting or applied research.
Professional registration (P.Geo., P.Ag., P.Eng., or R.P.F.) or eligible to be registered within 1 year.
Experience working in remote areas and extreme environments and weather conditions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
