Brannon Steel is looking for an experienced overhead Crane Operator to join the afternoon shift at its Brampton location. Starting from $22-24 per hour depending on experience, you'll work at our primary plate storage facility receiving and shipping material to support a JIT-type production model.

Duties

Operate 5-ton overhead cranes using RF remote.
Use clamps, magnets, vacuums, and other below-the-hook attachments.
Load / unload trucks and trailers.
Perform all required receiving inspections and apply material ID.
Organize equipment, materials, time, and work area for maximum efficiency.
Plan and carry out material movement based on schedules and instructions.
Maintain communication with management and co-workers regarding material movement requirements.
Locate materials by customer, thickness, size, grade, and other characteristics.
Contribute to the accuracy and maintenance of inventory and material location databases.
Requirements

Valid crane operator certificate with 1+ years of experience..
Attention to detail.
Computer literate.
Organization and prioritization.
Perform basic math.
Speak, read, write, and understand English at a conversational level.
Able to work an afternoon shift (Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm).
