We’re Interpump. We’re an industry leading designer and distributor of residential, commercial, and municipal rainwater harvesting, pump, and water treatment technologies. We take pride in designing water system solutions for a changing world, from the ground up. We design, support, engineer, and test all our systems in-house so we can deliver ready-to-go packages to our clients.
As our new Service and PLC Technician, you’ll play a key role on our engineering and production team, supporting the production and operation of our complete package and system solutions for our rainwater harvesting, water reuse, and water treatment systems.
About half your time will be spent in our shop - putting together systems, ensuring PLC and software programming are loaded in correctly, and troubleshooting any issues to ensure all components are running well. The other half of the time, you’ll work on site with clients to support on-site commissioning and startup of equipment, as well as conducting service and maintenance visits.
Assist in the manufacture, start up, service and maintenance of systems on sites across Ontario
Assist in the manufacture and assembly of systems as it pertains to control panel wiring, uploading of PLC/HMI programs, and loading VFD parameters
Maintain system components (pumps, motors, flow meters, valves, pressure transmitters, filters, UV lamps, etc.) to optimize performance and reliability
In-house testing and troubleshooting of equipment
Working with electrical and mechanical drawings related to controls, pump and water treatment systems, to ensure correct system functions
Assist in other shop duties as required (pump builds, piping assembly, etc.)
On site commissioning and start up of equipment, including providing operator training
Coordinate and schedule service and maintenance visits with customers, and provide warranty and post warranty support
With us, you’ll enjoy a highly varied role and the opportunity to work on large and complex systems for clients with diverse needs. As part of our team, you’ll be encouraged to actively share your perspective and experience so that together we can come up with elegant solutions to our clients’ problems.
You’ll also enjoy plenty of opportunities for growth, because we’re committed to your development. Whether your interests lie in project coordination, system design, or even customer support or quotation, we’ll work together to evolve your role as you grow with us.
If you’re ready to push your own boundaries, advance your skills, and make an impact, then look no further. As part of our team, you can have all that and more.
