We currently have an opening of a Technician position for a reliable, motivated and detail-oriented individual. The successful candidate(s) will be part of the IP Office laboratory team working to commercialize our complete line of reagent products (i.e. cell lines, antibodies). The successful candidate(s) will have plenty of opportunities for fast track career development while being part of a highly diverse, innovative and interactive cohort of scientists.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following

Perform sterile cell culture procedures following standard operating procedures
Maintain and organize all production records/documents carefully and neatly in detail
Abide by high quality standards for all production and/or quality control processes
Assists in development & troubleshooting of new techniques, ideas, and product lines
Good record of inventory and efficient communication with other departments
Apply technical knowledge and laboratory skills to design and perform various experiments under supervision from senior R&D scientists, including Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blotting, ELISA, and column chromatography as the project needs
Collect and analyze all experiments records/data and keep them well-maintained and organized
Present findings in meetings and contribute in project planning
Qualifications: shortlisted candidates will have the following experience:

A minimum of BSc in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology
Previous experience in cell culture and microscopy, Western Blotting, or ELISA for at least six (6) months
Familiar with research literature papers
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, team environment.
