Position Summary

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative will work in a fast paced environment, on a highly collaborative team in an inclusive environment. This person will be the primary interface between the customer and Zurn. He / She will be responsible for internally managing sales orders in cooperation with field account managers, service centers, manufactures, sales reps, and distributors. This position requires strong communication skills in customer service and field sales support.

Responsibilities

  • Frequent interaction with customers in order to quickly address inquiries by answering questions, solving problems and providing required updates.
  • Qualify customer requests to provide accurate and timely responses to product availability, pricing and order status.
  • Manage email and phone inquiries within Zurn’s customer care system within expected response times while maintaining accurate records.
  • Offer product knowledge support along with installation/application assistance where required.
  • Actively manage customer quotations and sales order activity with accountability to see things through to completion.
  • Work effectively in cross functional situations with various departments – Sales, Finance, Inventory, and Warehouse.

Experience and Skill Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Capable of making sound decisions through analysis and issue resolution
  • Thorough working knowledge of MS Office software including Excel, Access, Word and Outlook
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated tendency for continuous improvement
  • Effective in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with sense of urgency
  • Strong attention to detail as it relates to data/order entry
  • Prior experience in the construction or plumbing industry is desirable
  • Knowledge of I3 Client would be considered an asset
