Analyst – Quality Assurance

Pension Plan Administration

Summary

You will participate in quality assurance for projects involving delivery of our pension plan administration solution. Our solution allows for harmonized management of a range of activities associated with our clients’ pension plans. This includes an employer portal, an employee portal, and pension payment software.

Responsabilities

Produce the analyses needed to plan and set up tests;
Analyze technical documents to extract requirements, scenarios and test cases, then document everything in the test tool;
Develop test scenarios, taking into account the coverage required and suitable test techniques;
Keep the test catalogue documentation up to date as products and functionalities are added;
Run tests;
Note any problems identified during tests and use the established procedure to report them;
Follow up to ensure any problems are handled within a reasonable timeframe and verify the corrections;
Report to the team manager with regard to test status;
Prepare or revise procedure documents and help implement best business practices (BBP).

To succeed as an Analyst, QA you will require the core qualifications and skills

College degree in quality assurance, business administration or equivalent work experience;
Four years of relevant quality assurance experience;
Proven attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to summarize;
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to work on a team and independently;
Excellent communication skills in French and English, both spoken and written;
Aptitude for working in a computerized environment;
Knowledge of ALM and SQL tools an asset;
Experience in pension plan administration an asset.
