The Designer, Van der Pop is a multidisciplinary designer with a keen design eye that can balance conceptual thinking with organization and meticulous executional skills. With an awareness of trends in design and the ability to discern applicable relevancies to our brand, the Designer, Van de Pop thrives in an “all hands-on deck” start-up environment – undaunted by new media and tools.
Reporting into the Art Director, the Designer, Van der Pop has the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize own workload, and work independently when required. The Designer, Van der Pop possess creativity, enthusiasm and bring new ideas to the team, thriving in a highly collaborative environment. The Designer, Van der Pop is fiercely resourceful and organized – never missing a deadline or compromising the quality of your work.
On a day-to-day basis, you will support in the design and production of brand collateral which will support the Van der Pop brand.
These include but are not limited to:
- Help and support in the update and production of brand and marketing decks
- Assist with ongoing website and e-comm updates
- Collateral for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Conceptualization and design of emails, newsletters, and web marketing collateral
- Ensure brand and design standards are met on every project
- Produce signage and collateral for retail
- Environmental design for trade shows
- Design and layouts for magazine
- Event invites and signage
- Other duties as assigned
- 1-5 years of experience in graphic design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
- Exceptional Skills in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop + Illustrator required, all others are a plus)
