The Social Media Manager is responsible for executing, managing, and measuring all aspects of Herschel Supply social media content. This role requires a creative storyteller with a talent for multi-tasking and community management. As an integral part of the company’s marketing team, the role will be working closely with members of the production, graphic design, and marketing teams, reporting to the Director, Brand Experience.

On a day-to-day basis, the Social Media Manager will:
Work with the Marketing team to drive a digital-first mindset across campaign planning and development, ensuring best in class social media executions are taking place in seasonal marketing.
Work with all departments to ensure the development of social media content, campaigns and programs are consistent with seasonal marketing initiatives.
Concept photo and video assets with a photo studio and Creative Director for social-first campaigns.
Be the eyes and ears of the brand by monitoring the online conversation and becoming intimate with the brand’s target audience.
Populate and maintain content calendars across all social media platforms and ensure content is in alignment with seasonal campaigns.
Coordinate paid media copy on select social platforms with our eCommerce team to ensure alignment on goals and performance.
Review and analyze social KPIs on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Develop and maintain relationships with key social media influencers.
Research and stay ahead of digital innovation, fashion, and lifestyle trends.


Must have 3 years’ experience in the digital communication space with extensive knowledge of social media platforms (lifestyle brand experience a plus).
University degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or equivalent.
Demonstrated digital strategic planning skills.
Proven track record of executing large social media campaigns across various platforms
Ability to analyze data, summarizing stories, and insights for media, websites, and social engagement strategies experience using social and digital analytics.
Independent and well organized with strong project management skills.
Strong writing skills with the ability to create editorial content in real-time.
Strong project management or organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills with Sprout Social, Facebook Insights, Google Analytics.
Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and make decisions under pressure.
Ability to multi-task and coordinate a variety of projects at once.
