We have an opening for a Sales Representative to help generate business for our Burnaby Branch. This important customer focused role is accountable for increasing sales and expanding the customer base within the assigned region.

Our successful candidate is capable for developing lasting relationships with customers by responding effectively to inquiries, attending site meetings and offering technical solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Pursue sales leads; visit customer (existing or potential) sites to assess needs and recommend appropriate equipment and labour to erect/dismantle scaffold
  • Prepare estimates based on scope of work and promptly turnaround quotes/bids to customer; uses Sales database to track and retain bid information
  • Manage business development activities and seek new opportunities for growth
  • Report on sales activity and pipeline of future work at monthly sales meetings; review back-log status and potential slow period fill-in work needs
  • Interface with general contractor or customer to address concerns
  • Consults with clients, vendors or other individuals to discuss and resolve issues.
  • Assist corporate office in monthly billing projections and evaluates billings vs. job costing/set-up.


  • Demonstrated experience in outside sales, preferably with equipment or in construction industry; previous experience in scaffolding industry is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer focus combined with confidence, initiative, enthusiasm, ambition and willingness to learn
  • Ability to forecast, analyze and strategize
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation and ability to work independently and prioritize work
  • Ability to interact with diverse personalities in the field and within our support staff critical
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
