Your primary responsibilities will include:
Working closely with the Partners and other senior staff .
Review and finalize the tax filings (including T1, T2, T3 and T5013 returns) prepared by staff to ensure all tax related matters have been adequately addressed.
Performing technical research, developing and documenting tax plan recommendations.
Schedule and assign responsibilities to other staff with the intent to develop and challenge the staff persons’ skill level.
Supporting and mentoring other practitioners.
Identifying client service opportunities.
Enhancing existing and developing new community relationships and networks.
A successful candidate will have:
Canadian CPA designation.
At least two years in a tax role focused on privately held commercial clientele.
Experience managing and developing junior staff.
Self-motivation with an ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
