We are currently recruiting energetic, passionate, and creative sessional Baristas to join our Starbucks team on campus starting mid-August. With the direction of the Food Services Manager and Starbucks Team Leads, our Baristas provide exceptional customer service to all clients of our busy on-campus Starbucks location. This includes welcoming customers by determining their coffee interests and needs, educating customers by presenting and explaining the drink and food menu, maintaining inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar, and of course, making delicious beverages. Certified Starbucks Barista training provided to successful candidates!
This position is ongoing full-time, sessional (8-month recurring salaried contract each year with summer months off). Starting monthly salary is $2,587 with annual increases.

You have a Food Safe Level 1 Certificate (or are willing to obtain one before hire), a Grade 10 education, and one year of related Barista experience.

Prepares food and beverages in food service restaurants, residences and retail outlets.
Other duties as required.
Grade 10 or equivalent and Food Safe Level 1 Certificate. One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must complete and pass associated specialized training program, if located in a specialized Skills Outlet (Starbucks).
