What is the opportunity?
Lead a best-in-class Automotive Finance team to maximize RBC’s Commercial and Retail Automotive position in the market and bring the best of RBC to businesses and their owners. To do this, you will build and execute a market strategy and action plan to capture market share and accelerate growth, guide your team to deliver on RBC and regional priorities. Create a winning culture by building an engaged and skilled team through coaching routines, development planning, and by demonstrating belief in your team, partners and RBC’s ability to win. Additionally, you are accountable and take ownership for your regions results in client experience, business performance, portfolio quality and employee engagement.
What will you do?
Create a collaborative environment for Automotive Specialists; Commercial Account Manager (CAM), Retail Account Manager (RAM) and Associate Account Manager (AAM) to address the full breadth of the dealer client’s needs through daily interactions and joint client contacts.
Coach each CAM to acquire new clients and achieve their New Client Acquisition (NCA) objectives.
Focus the entire team on growing client relationships through discovery and documenting client’s goals, opportunities and RBC strategies. Build strong product acumen within the team that translates into advice based recommendations for a broad range of product and service solutions and cross partnering activities.
Promote a proactive, coordinated approach to client contact and coach joint client interaction with both commercial and retail sales forces and explore opportunities for joint client contacts with CAM and RAM
What do you need to succeed?
A minimum of 2 years proven people management experience with demonstrated leadership skills
A passion for developing people and building community relationships
Experience in coaching to deliver exceptional results
Superior knowledge of Personal and Business products and procedures.
Commercial banking and complex credit experience
