We are looking for a Consultant Database & Reporting Specialist to join our Vancouver based Account Management & Reporting Team!
The Account Management & Reporting Team (AMR) resides within the middle-office of Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&LFG) and is responsible for delivering timely and accurate post-trade analytics that support the investment management process of all CC&L affiliates. The team collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure client transitions, portfolio composites, and consultant databases are effectively managed. CC&L as an investment management firm is responsible for over $77 billion in global assets and heavily relies on AMR for a variety of functions. What You’ll Be Doing
AMR operates in a unique position close to both business operations and systems technology. The team activities cover data and process management, ad-hoc problem solving, and continuous process improvement in both an independent and a collaborative setting. Our specialists are empowered to thrive as process owners with both the autonomy and responsibility that comes with delegation. You will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple business partners including portfolio managers, middle/back office teams, and information technology. Key responsibilities include:
Produce timely investment data for key stakeholders and consultant database vendors
Support the Proposal & Consultant database team for investment profile setup
Support ad-hoc data, reporting, RFP and sales and marketing requests
Develop and manage relationships with both internal and external clients
Seek out and implement innovative process/workflow improvements to increase efficiency, mitigate risk, and increase the level of service provided to stakeholders on a proactive basis
Act as backup for various tasks within the AMR team
Support the team leader on a variety of ad-hoc tasks and projects
Write and update procedure documentation as required

Education – You have an undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, finance, or other related discipline. Supplementary enrollment in investment management courses or related training is an asset.
Industry Knowledge – You have 1 to 2 years of related working experience; preferably within the investment management or financial industry.
Business Applications Knowledge – You are proficient in MS Office in general and Excel in particular with an aptitude to learn new applications as required.
