What We Are Looking For:
This position is strongly suited for an individual who is eager to learn, a self-starter, possessing excellent communication, organization and client service skills. The successful real estate legal assistant will be assisting three lawyers with the support of one other assistant.

Responsibilities:
Prepare closing documentation, reporting letters, statements of account and bank reports on title
Complete title searches, writ searches, registrations, preparing deeds, requisitions, charges and discharges
Handle off title enquiry letters and off-title enquiry charts
Produce the highest quality of work
Handle daily administrative details
Manage duties related to accounting
Accountable for all work assigned
Arrange meetings
Calendar management
Take initiative
Confidential

Requirements:
Minimum of two years’ experience with commercial real estate
Successful completion of a related post-secondary legal assistant or law clerk program
Expertise with Teraview and Conveyancer
Handle time pressure situations and stress of multiple demands
