Service Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Service of Delco Security equipment as required
  • Communicate with Delco Team to ensure the client satisfaction
  • Service and termination of IP based and analog CCTV (closed circuit television systems)
  • Service and termination of Intercom systems
  • Service and termination of Card Access systems
  • Service and termination of PLC Control panels
  • Service of network equipment
  • General understanding of networks and computers
  • Programming of various security related platform
  • Review and interpretation of electrical drawings
  • Packaging and unpacking of material
  • General housekeeping of work area
  • Compliance of Delco Security Health and Safety program
  • Documentation of “As Built” changes to installation design
  • Work out of town as required
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Use the Delco Nucleus application time sheet module (training provided)
  • Care and maintenance of all corporate assets

Qualifications:

· 5 years experience in the Security industry, or Audio Visual industry

·Electronics Network and/or programming certification from accredited technical school or military electronics training desired

·Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts

·Excellent computer and Networking skills required

· Strong attention to detail

·Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Customer relationship skills

·Strong troubleshooting skills
