Position: Digital Content Coordinator (1 year contract)
Reporting to the Content & Community Manager, the Digital Content Coordinator is an integral member of the Longo’s marketing team, producing, curating and adapting content for digital platforms. This role collaborates with the other members of the marketing team, merchandising team and vendor partners in producing, managing, and executing on our content strategy across the Longo’s digital platforms.
What you’ll do:
Coordinate web content and product updates to support the execution of vendor program commitments and acquisition and retention campaigns.
Create compelling and creative content for the Longo’s website, social media, emails and magazine. Ensure all content fits our brand, voice and style guidelines.
Source, edit and organize digital assets. Coordination of photo and/or video shoots.
Review submitted content and prepare files for publication. Edit content for grammar and style.
Social media content curation, creation and coordination (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
Assist in reports for campaigns, social media and email analytics. Research, track and report on performance of social media. Identify trends and opportunities.
Assist in the development of content marketing strategies targeting our segments, personas and as part of our partnerships.
Analyze existing and potential content for reuse. Research competitors and content strategy practices to be able to make recommendations for future projects and plans.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, journalism or a related subject.
Superior copywriting, editing and proofing skills to ensure accuracy and excellence.
Strong project and time management skills with high standards of accuracy, organization and quality control. Proven ability to collaborate and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
An understanding of best practices in content strategy. Experience managing social media platforms.
Excellent interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with vendors and internal teams.
Intermediate photoshop and illustrator. Editing, resizing, creating composite graphics.
Intermediate photography and photo editing. Styled and product photography.
Intermediate video storytelling and editing. Taking video, creating an editing
Experience with content management systems.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
