Overview of the opportunity:
KPMG’s Workday Financial Management practice is experiencing exceptional growth. Our team helps organizations maximize efficiencies and drive business value across the enterprise by leveraging Workday Financial Management solution.
We do this by working with CFOs and other finance leaders to help them successfully implement Workday Financial Management and transform their finance function using the core drivers of change process optimization, target operating model development, and information technology. We empower finance functions to become more insightful and true business partners.
What you will do:
Analyze client issues and develop solutions using the latest technology solutions.
Learn and complete finance business process related analysis.
Complete finance functional configuration within the technology solution.
Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle including strategy, requirements. management, functional design, prototyping, process design, testing, training and post go-live support.
Participate in the day-to-day activities of Workday Financial Management practice engagements for various clients, including process design, package implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews.
Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities; work with the appropriate KPMG resources from other service lines/industries.
Develop knowledge of the various services delivered by the firm so that potential sales opportunities are identified.
What you bring to the role:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an Accounting major.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate with client stakeholders, work closely in a collaborative team environment, and lead teams and project deliverables.
Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
While not essential, previous Workday Financials or Cloud based ERP implementation experience is an asset.
Keys to your success:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to clearly and articulately identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to address client requirements.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with client stakeholders and work closely in a collaborative team environment and lead teams and project deliverables.
Ability to travel within Canada.
