As a Channel Manager on the TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) team focused on the mid-market segment, you will be responsible for the delivery and execution of transformational sales initiatives based on integrated product solutions, service reliability, customer experience excellence, team engagement, and operational efficiency priorities. The successful candidate is equally responsible for business outcomes as well as how they are achieved. Strong integration, cross-functional team leadership, and influence is essential for success in this role, as is flexibility and calm in the face of fast-paced work environments and ambiguity.

The successful candidate will be a natural collaborator, innovator and problem solver, working with an extensive network of stakeholders within and outside of TELUS, providing hands-on sales coaching, performance management, and subject matter expertise on strategic sales tactics.

Here's how

Sales management
Lead TELUS Business Solutions field sales teams focused on the mid-market segment and oversee sales forecasting, sales execution, sales performance to target, sales yield, and quality of sales to higher ARPU products
Direct management of day-to-day sales team escalations, training, and support
Presentation and communication at executive level on loading performance
Partner management
Creation of sales incentives to drive loading and results
Oversight and approval of partner compensation and invoices
On-boarding and approval for partner sales representative hiring
Facilitate and drive weekly partner management calls on targets, performance, training, new offers
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage partner territory
Product integration and evolution
Drive integrated product selling, growing TELUS’ market share on new and existing wireline and wireless offerings
Work with stakeholders to support emerging products, such as Secure Business
Systems and tools evolution
Collaborate with the TELUS Business Solutions Enablement team to influence the roadmap and evolution of systems and tools to support business loading
Provide business requirements for systems and tools
Drive and execute pilots in an agile framework

Sales experience

Proven track record and demonstration of consistent sales performance results
Advanced sales strategy and execution skills in an agile and fast paced organization
Demonstrated experience managing partner teams
Charisma, energy, and ability to motivate sales teams to exceed targets
Proven ability to mentor and coach, while being agile and adaptable
Business acumen

Ability to influence all levels of management including cross functional teams and senior executives
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation, written, and verbal
Very strong presentation and facilitation abilities; ability to showcase strong business acumen and strategy to the Executive Leadership Team (VP + President)
Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
Excellent planning and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a rapidly changing environment to meet business needs
Industry experience

3-5 years’ experience in sales and leading sales teams
Knowledge of TELUS' networks, operational processes, associated technology and business products, services and channels is an asset
Bachelor's degree in an applicable managerial discipline; degree in Marketing an asset
Location

Based in Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton, with ability to travel in BC and Alberta as needed
