The Role

Senior Manager, Total Reward and HR Operations is a member of a multidisciplinary HR leadership team, reporting to the VP, HR. This position will manage, co-ordinate and assist in the activities of the Corporate Human Resources department at the Plasman Group. This position will lead innovative HR strategic mandates and initiatives that drive HR Operations, Technology and Total Rewards to achieve significant business improvements globally.

Key areas of focus will include:
Driving continuous improvements and operational efficiencies in HR operations, processes and procedures; design and implement innovative practices, where applicable.
Developing standard and ad-hoc reports as required ensuring integrity of data transactions through applied business rules.
Providing subject matter expertise and accurately interpreting, counseling, communicating, and educating HR, managers and senior leaders on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretations, and job evaluations.
Overseeing Total Rewards philosophy, compensation, benefits programs and processes; keep abreast of legislation, trends, marketplace changes and advances and makes recommendation to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
Acting as the project manager for implementations, updates and integrations for new or established systems/processes. Responsible to ensure quality performance; on-time delivery, within budget and scope. Communicate and actively involve project stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of each initiative.


A minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience in developing and implementing best-in-class HR programs and projects.
HR experience in union and union-free environments with a focus on positive employee relations.


Experience in leading large-scale projects with multiple stakeholder groups, ideally across multiple locations.
Experience in developing high-quality internal communications, including presentations, training, booklets, program branding, etc.
Experience in talent acquisition at a Corporate level an asset.
