We're looking for a Senior QA Developer to join the Security Products team at Oracle-NetSuite. As part of our team, you will be responsible for writing and managing testing and release infrastructure. This includes maintaining our end-to-end testing suite, as well as managing releases for our internal products. Collaborate with external teams to manage and triage reported issues, and to verify fixes for existing issues. Create and execute test plans for anything that can't be tested with automation. Help maintain and improve code quality by providing meaningful contributions to code reviews, and by ensuring the team is sticking to the defined SDLC.

Preferred Qualifications

Computer science or engineering degree (bachelor or above)
Object oriented software development skills (Scala, Java, etc.)
Some exposure to functional programming
Experience with REST API development
Container technology (Docker specifically would be best but any experience and/or knowledge in the containerization space is also acceptable)
Reasonable competency with Terraform
Concurrent programming
Shell scripting

Technical Experience

At least 5 years of experience in backend software development in a Unix-based environment
Familiarity with microservice architecture
Runtime support, application debugging and troubleshooting
Continuous integration systems (E.g., TeamCity)

Nice to Have

Kubernetes (with Istio)

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
