Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Control Brand Marketing helps to lead marketing and communications programs with internal and external stakeholders to further business strategies of Loblaw Companies Ltd. This role leads projects that promote and build brand affinity for our respective brands and works to make our brands and owned content more relevant to our customers. This role also works to further strengthen our brands in marketing communications, from strategy to execution. The right candidate must be passionate about retail, loyalty programs, digital products and have an innate drive to create brave and passionate marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, plan, and execute customer centric marketing campaigns
Develop marketing plans and write marketing briefs for full funnel, multi-channel marketing campaigns
Manage cross-functional teams (creative, media, digital, PR, ExM, in-store marketing, legal/compliance, translation) to ensure marketing objectives, brand guidelines, and campaign deadlines are met
Ensure the integrity of the brand is upheld
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to maximize marketing opportunities within owned channels across the enterprise
Manage relationship with external creative agency
Work with customer insights team to analyze data and define actionable insights for pre-planning campaigns and post campaigns
Define campaign KPIs and report against them during campaigns
Oversee and manage campaign budgets
Communicate and present marketing plans to senior leadership
Manage up to senior leadership
Evaluate new marketing opportunities

Role Requirements:
University or college degree in business, marketing or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
5-7 years of relevant work experience in retail, CPG, brand, advertising, marketing or environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Excellent organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
Marketing communication effectiveness to drive awareness, sales and return on marketing investment
Ability to take and manage risk
Ability to work with a high degree of detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment constantly meeting deadlines
Ability to deliver programs within budget
