A world-leading software development company is looking for a Regional Account Manager to join their team in the heart of Richmond, BC. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be the primary point of contact responsible for developing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships at various levels within an organization amongst a wide-range of clientele serving the public and private sector, responsible for hunting and expanding new business in a defined geographic area.


As the Regional Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
Developing a strategic sales plan for your assigned territory incorporating strategies and techniques to increase sales.
Providing accurate sales forecasting on a monthly basis for all sales opportunities within your territory
Developing and nurturing relationships with accounts within your assigned territory.
Exceeding assigned revenue targets for your individual territory.
Identifying, creating and managing account profiles within the CRM database.
Performing daily outbound calls for the purposes of setting up web-based demonstrations and generating new leads for future sales opportunities.
Attending regional and national trade shows, conferences and meetings that provide face-to-face opportunities to promote brand awareness.
Providing sales support to prospective and existing customers


Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Business or equivalent and relevant industry experience.
Verifiable 5+ year’s sales experience with volume-based, B2B transactional sales is required. Preference will be granted to those with experience serving the Architectural, Engineering & Consulting (AEC) market or CAD verticals.
Experience selling software and/or IT solutions is desired.
Proven and verifiable track record of achievement in a relevant role, i.e. account management, sales, or client facing/revenue position.
Preference given to those with MS Dynamics CRM experience.
Strong presentations skills, verbal and written. (Must be fluent in English, additional languages an asset)
Proven and verifiable track record of initiative to meet challenging performance goals and proven sales.
Ability to travel to the U.S occasionally.


Base salary of $50,000 to $60,000 per year + commissions. Expected OTE in year one is between $80,000 to $90,000
