Best Brands Stores is looking for an energetic, intelligent, and innovative individual to join our management team.

Requirements:

Minimum of Bachelors’s degree in business, economics or related field.
5+ years of senior operational and financial management experience in a multi-unit retail chain, and international retail and wholesale trading.
Experience and connections with suppliers/manufacturers in Europe, Asia, and North America.
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
Ability to set goals, plan and implement projects, and manage risks, calculate resource requirements, personnel requirements, budgets, cost, and time for ongoing projects.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Desire to stay up to date with industry news and trends.
IT fluency and comfort using Word, Excel, Outlook, graphic design programs (Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator) and PowerPoint.
Priority will be given to candidates with knowledge in business/operational management systems for retail trade, e.g. Multi-point sales platforms; (CMS) Content Management Systems; (MAP) Marketing Automation Platforms; (ERP) Enterprise Resource Planning; (PIM) Product Information Management; (AMS) Association Management Systems; (CRM) Customer Relationship Management; and Employee Management Software.

Duties:

Work as part of the senior management team in setting standardized business and operational practices and business development practices for a retail trade enterprise currently expanding new locations in the Ontario region.
Lead and supervise the administration and successful implementation of innovative corporate/marketing models using current business/operational management systems to streamline and consolidate operational practices of a multi-unit retail chain.
Represent the enterprise in selecting and negotiating with service providers of business/operational systems.
Identify rising business opportunities and build long-term business development plans for customer growth and retention.
Tracking activity and sales progress.
Consult in budgeting, forecasting, and drafting financial models with the senior management team.
Participate in the selection and hiring of candidates for new location management.
Form strong location management relationships, and provide corporate structure and business leadership to location management.
Mentor location employees and administration staff.
Support location issue management, including site issues, and store openings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $49.00 to $51.00 /hour
