As a CE team member, a typical week might include the following:

Driving. You’ll be responsible for servicing your modern delivery vehicle and regular routes in a pick-up truck, van or 3-ton box truck. Class DZ license required. You will be on the road one week per month providing exceptional service to our Northern Ontario customers. Expenses paid.
Customer Service. Provide a truly Canadian experience to our customers during deliveries, on the front counter and by telephone.
Shipping and Receiving. Confirm delivery routes and addresses. Perform checks to ensure all scheduled deliveries have been included in current load. Maintain accurate trip logs. Load and unload trucks/trailers. Assist in all aspects of warehouse duties including labeling of product, preparation of shipping documentation, inventory counts and general cleanup/ maintenance. You really need to know this stuff!
Maintenance. Responsibly maintain company vehicles through safe driving practices and tidy habits. Safely operate power and manual lift equipment (forklifts, electric carts, electric pallet jack, hand truck, pallet jack, pallet wrapper and push carts). Notify management of any concerns or issues with vehicles or equipment.
Safety. Unfailingly promote a clean, safe and positive work environment. Consistently uphold all company health and safety, security, and operational policies and procedures. Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques.
Communicate. Regularly communicate with Company leadership on best practices + procedures, customer concerns and new ideas. You’re proactive so when you’re in doubt, or if presented with a challenge, you speak up, ask for input and feedback from your teammates.

You are awesome:
Full Class D-Z Driver’s License with minimum three years of experience required.
Overnight trips will be required every month. Expenses paid.
Experience with Ontario commercial vehicle requirements as per MTO – Hours of Service and Vehicle Inspection logs.
Safe personal and/or commercial driving record.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Able to consistently lift 50 pounds required.
Demonstrated attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy.
Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Steel-toed safety boots are a requirement.

Extra awesome:
Experience in the automotive industry.
Warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment experience.
Bilingual - French/English
WHMIS and Dangerous Goods certification, as well as forklift experience is an asset.
