The IT System and Network Administrator will be responsible for the implementation and support of the server, application and network infrastructure in accordance with industry accepted best practices and providing assistance to other members of the Information Technology Team.

Assist with PCI DSS and SOC 2 Compliance requirements
Follow IT policies and procedures to control information security
Install and/or update Server or network hardware, software and operating systems
Manage and diagnose system services including AD DS, DHCP, DNS, NTP, Email and the PBX
Maintain and support network devices including firewalls, routers, switches and Wi-Fi
Ensure backups are maintained, restore data as needed and assist disaster recovery operations
Setup proactive monitoring, respond to system alerts and resolve any issues
Develop and maintain comprehensive supporting documentation for production systems
Provide 2nd or 3rd tier technical support, on site or over the phone during business hours
Provide afterhours remote and on-site support for maintenance and in an emergency
Provide after hours on call support on a rotational basis
Complete additional IT related tasks and activities as assigned
4-7 years of experience in IT system and network administration
Post-Secondary Diploma in Computer Studies, Computer Sciences, a related program OR equivalent experience
Microsoft Certified Professional for servers
ITIL Certification considered an asset
Hands on experience with the following technologies:
Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 R2/2016
IPsec VPN setups and troubleshooting
VMware vCenter 5.5 / 6.5 with iSCSI SAN Storage.
Exchange 2010 and Office 365
Enterprise Firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Sophos UTM and/or Juniper SSG
Layer 2 Switching with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus and/or Meraki
Experience or education with the following technologies:
VoIP Phone Systems - Avaya IP Office, or similar
Virus Scanning with McAfee EPO & Virus Scan Enterprise, or similar
Backup & Recover with Dell AppAssure/Veeam, or similar
Layer 3 Routing in Cisco environment
F5 load balancing and F5 WAF experience or working knowledge
Familiarity with MS Azure Cloud or similar environment
Familiarity with MSSQL and database management
Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems
Familiarity with PRTG and Splunk
Experience with or working knowledge of Unix/Linux OS management and troubleshooting is considered an asset
Familiarity with CDK PFW considered an asset
